Prior to joining Nanyang Technological University, Dr. Fu was a postdoctoral research associate in the Resilient Extra-Terrestrial Habitats Institute at Purdue University. He also worked as a research scientist at Embedor Technologies to commercialize the sensor technology developed in the Ph.D. study. His research interests include smart sensing, digital twin, artificial intelligence, and their applications in digital construction and infrastructure monitoring. Currently, he is Early Career Editorial Board member for Earthquake Engineering and Resilience, Topical Advisory Panel members for Sensors and Buildings.
